The joy of owning a tailormade scarf is not only in the wearing but in the commissioning process of something that uniquely reflects your personality and inspirations. Like the wife who wanted to create a scarf for her husband of more than thirty years. Her memories and ideas were transformed into a pattern of lines in different lengths to reflect the rhymes of his poetry and writings. The patterns were embedded in a rich palette of his favourite colour blue to tell an ocean of stories of their shared life.
Our process involves two or more appointments to unfold your inspiration and capture your expectations and style. After consultation, we will create a textile design sketch grasping and transforming your desires into a physical product. At this stage alterations can be made, if needed, before heading towards material selection, weaving, refining and finishing.
To create your item, we ethically select and source the finest silk and lithe rare fibres from trustworthy suppliers. We will suggest motifs reflecting our alpine heritage and playfully commission embellishments that were once used for the noble robes of the High Courts. Creative additions can be structural surface design patterns, fringes, embroideries, sequins and pearls.
Every bespoke item is handmade in our Swiss artisanal atelier and is as unique as the client who has ordered it. We will guide you in the creation of a scarf, shawl or cape from original patterns with symbolic significance. We are here to serve your specific needs to create a piece that makes you feel magnificent and that ou will cherish season after season accentuating your very own style. As a guide, prices of made-to-order items have ranged from CHF 1650.- to CHF 4500.- largely determined by your choice of material and refinements.
